What Alchemy Pack is

Alchemy Pack is a plugin published in the jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace repository on GitHub, which has about 2.8k stars. The repository describes itself as: “Model-agnostic agent-skills platform with a harness-free canonical layer, verified adapters, and the ccpi package manager. Explore at tonsofskills.com.”

A plugin is a package that bundles skills, slash commands, subagents, hooks, and MCP connectors so they install together. Plugins are plain files with a manifest at .claude-plugin/plugin.json, and they work in both Claude Code and Claude Cowork.

Installing Alchemy Pack adds everything it ships in one step. Connectors inside a plugin still need to be connected separately, and hooks and subagents only run in Cowork and Claude Code, not in regular chat.

Inside the source file

An excerpt from plugins/saas-packs/alchemy-pack/.claude-plugin/plugin.json, shared under the repository's MIT license. Read the full file on GitHub.

Eighteen evidence-backed Claude Code workflows for operating Alchemy Node, Data, Portfolio, NFT, Wallet, Notify, and Admin surfaces across current supported chains.

Every skill includes a dated first-party evidence map, explicit credential and approval boundaries, negative-path validation, and a rollback-aware output contract. The pack no longer teaches the deprecated and archived alchemy-sdk, Polygon Mumbai, fixed plan or method-cost tables, an undocumented dashboard stats endpoint, or blanket claims that every application key must stay out of browser code.

Installation

/plugin install alchemy-pack@claude-code-plugins-plus

Operator lanes

Current non-negotiables

  • The alchemy-sdk JavaScript repository is archived and deprecated. Use viem for JavaScript EVM reads, current Data API adapters for product endpoints, @alchemy/wallet-apis for transacting applications and Portfolio support, and Solana Web3.js for Solana.
  • An application API key, Admin access key, Notify management token, per-webhook signing key, and wallet signing authority are distinct credentials.
  • RPC support on a chain does not prove feature support for NFT, Portfolio, Wallet, Simulation, or Notify surfaces.
  • Portfolio fanout can return HTTP 200 with top-level error.partialErrors; HTTP success is not proof of a complete multi-chain result.
  • Throughput is account-level over a rolling ten-second token-bucket window. Pricing, method costs, included capacity, and elastic behavior must be checked against current account evidence.
  • Notify authenticity uses HMAC-SHA256 over the exact raw body and the per-webhook signing key in X-Alchemy-Signature.
  • Restricted browser application-key patterns require an explicit threat model and current Alchemy controls such as allowlists or short-lived JWTs; confidential, Admin, Notify, webhook, and signing credentials remain isolated.

Quality contract

All eighteen skills target marketplace Grade A and Tier-2 GREEN with zero warnings and errors. Each skill uses only Read, Glob, Grep, Write, and Edit; invoking a skill never authorizes network access, credentials, address or customer data, plan changes, spend, key or webhook lifecycle changes, deployment, replay, transaction construction, signing, broadcast, or deletion.

Before you install

  • Read the whole file first. Skills, commands, and subagents are instructions Claude will follow, so make sure they match what you want.
  • Check which tools, scripts, or MCP servers it uses. Local servers and scripts run with your permissions.
  • Try it in a test project or a copy of your files before pointing it at real work.
  • Pin the version you tested, and review changes before updating.
  • Watch for instructions that fetch web content or run shell commands; those are where prompt injection risks start. See our prompt injection guide.
