What Analyze Flow is

Analyze Flow is a slash command published in the jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace repository on GitHub, which has about 2.8k stars. The repository describes itself as: “Model-agnostic agent-skills platform with a harness-free canonical layer, verified adapters, and the ccpi package manager. Explore at tonsofskills.com.”

A slash command is a reusable prompt saved as a markdown file and run by typing its name after a slash. In Claude Code, custom commands have been merged into skills: a file in .claude/commands/ and a skill folder in .claude/skills/ both create the same kind of command, and existing command files keep working.

Analyze Flow gives you a repeatable way to run the same instructions without retyping them, optionally with arguments.

How to install Analyze Flow

class OptionsFlowAnalyzer {
    constructor() {
        this.dataSources = {
            primary: process.env.OPTIONS_FLOW_API,
            cboe: 'https://www.cboe.com/api',
            opra: process.env.OPRA_FEED,
            unusual: process.env.UNUSUAL_WHALES_API
        };

        this.flowThresholds = {
            institutional: 1000000,  // $1M premium
            unusual: 100000,         // $100K premium
            retail: 10000           // $10K premium
        };
    }

    async analyzeFlow(params) {
        const {
…

2. Flow Display Interface

class FlowDisplay {
    displayAnalysis(analysis) {
        return `
╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗
║                   OPTIONS FLOW ANALYSIS                        ║

3. Real-Time Flow Monitoring

class FlowMonitor {
    constructor() {
        this.analyzer = new OptionsFlowAnalyzer();
        this.alerts = [];
        this.watchlist = new Set();
    }

    async startMonitoring(params) {
        console.log('Starting options flow monitoring...');

        const monitoringInterval = setInterval(async () => {
            try {
                const flows = await this.analyzer.fetchRealtimeFlow();

                for (const flow of flows) {
                    // Check for alerts
                    if (this.shouldAlert(flow)) {
                        await this.triggerAlert(flow);
…

Error Handling

try {
    const analyzer = new OptionsFlowAnalyzer();
    const analysis = await analyzer.analyzeFlow({
        symbol: 'SPY',
        timeframe: '1d',
        flowType: 'both',
        minPremium: 100000,
        sentiment: 'all'
    });

    const display = new FlowDisplay();
    console.log(display.displayAnalysis(analysis));

    // Start real-time monitoring
    const monitor = new FlowMonitor();
    monitor.watchlist.add('SPY');
    monitor.watchlist.add('QQQ');
    await monitor.startMonitoring();
…

This command provides comprehensive options flow analysis with institutional tracking, unusual activity detection, and smart money identification.

Before you install

  • Read the whole file first. Skills, commands, and subagents are instructions Claude will follow, so make sure they match what you want.
  • Check which tools, scripts, or MCP servers it uses. Local servers and scripts run with your permissions.
  • Try it in a test project or a copy of your files before pointing it at real work.
  • Pin the version you tested, and review changes before updating.
  • Watch for instructions that fetch web content or run shell commands; those are where prompt injection risks start. See our prompt injection guide.
