What Clickup Pack is

Clickup Pack is a plugin published in the jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace repository on GitHub, which has about 2.8k stars. The repository describes itself as: “Model-agnostic agent-skills platform with a harness-free canonical layer, verified adapters, and the ccpi package manager. Explore at tonsofskills.com.”

A plugin is a package that bundles skills, slash commands, subagents, hooks, and MCP connectors so they install together. Plugins are plain files with a manifest at .claude-plugin/plugin.json, and they work in both Claude Code and Claude Cowork.

Installing Clickup Pack adds everything it ships in one step. Connectors inside a plugin still need to be connected separately, and hooks and subagents only run in Cowork and Claude Code, not in regular chat.

The pack is grounded in ClickUp's current official API documentation. It treats API v2 as the primary work-management surface and routes selected v3 capabilities endpoint by endpoint; it does not assume a platform-wide v2-to-v3 cutover. Every skill includes explicit authentication, plan, approval, redaction, failure, and verification boundaries.

Installation

/plugin install clickup-pack@claude-code-plugins-plus

Current provider contract

  • Personal tokens begin with pk_; user-facing apps use OAuth Authorization Code with server-side secret handling and Workspace verification.
  • Rate limits are per personal or OAuth token and depend on the hosting Workspace plan. Operators use X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, and Unix X-RateLimit-Reset rather than hard-coded concurrency.
  • Get Tasks uses 100-item, zero-based pages. Closed tasks, subtasks, and Tasks in Multiple Lists require deliberate request options.
  • Webhooks use raw-body HMAC-SHA256 in hexadecimal X-Signature, durable idempotency, fast acknowledgement, and reconciliation.
  • ClickUp publishes separate v2 and v3 OpenAPI specifications. Generated or custom clients must route each operation to its documented version.
  • Enterprise-only user/guest management, audit logs, and ACL effects are treated as plan- and authority-gated operations.

Quality contract

Each published SKILL.md carries marketplace metadata, explicit tool discipline, a current-contract snapshot, numbered execution steps, approval boundaries, structured output, failure handling, and an official-source reference file. The pack's regression test protects the provider facts most likely to drift or be overgeneralized.

Before you install

  • Read the whole file first. Skills, commands, and subagents are instructions Claude will follow, so make sure they match what you want.
  • Check which tools, scripts, or MCP servers it uses. Local servers and scripts run with your permissions.
  • Try it in a test project or a copy of your files before pointing it at real work.
  • Pin the version you tested, and review changes before updating.
  • Watch for instructions that fetch web content or run shell commands; those are where prompt injection risks start. See our prompt injection guide.
