What Firecrawl Pack is

Firecrawl Pack is a plugin published in the jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace repository on GitHub, which has about 2.8k stars. The repository describes itself as: “Model-agnostic agent-skills platform with a harness-free canonical layer, verified adapters, and the ccpi package manager. Explore at tonsofskills.com.”

A plugin is a package that bundles skills, slash commands, subagents, hooks, and MCP connectors so they install together. Plugins are plain files with a manifest at .claude-plugin/plugin.json, and they work in both Claude Code and Claude Cowork.

Installing Firecrawl Pack adds everything it ships in one step. Connectors inside a plugin still need to be connected separately, and hooks and subagents only run in Cowork and Claude Code, not in regular chat.

What It Does

Firecrawl exposes scrape, crawl, map, search, batch, parse, structured extraction, agentic, and browser workflows. This pack teaches current v2 client contracts and the operational controls around them: source authorization, explicit limits, complete pagination, content validation, spend, retention, observability, incident response, access governance, and rollback.

  • Node install surface: firecrawl, named Firecrawl client
  • Python install surface: firecrawl-py, Firecrawl client
  • REST base: https://api.firecrawl.dev/v2
  • Cloud authentication: Authorization: Bearer with a secret-managed API key
  • Evidence snapshot: Firecrawl docs commit 8bd51cb7e68e3b931d6895f6094e1cf5c709de09, reviewed 2026-09-11

Plan limits, prices, feature availability, and self-host release pins can change. Each skill links to the current first-party evidence that must be re-checked.

Installation

/plugin install firecrawl-pack@claude-code-plugins-plus

Skills

Current Node Example

import { Firecrawl } from "firecrawl";

const firecrawl = new Firecrawl({
  apiKey: process.env.FIRECRAWL_API_KEY,
});

const document = await firecrawl.scrape("https://docs.example.com", {
  formats: ["markdown"],
  onlyMainContent: true,
});

if (!document.metadata?.sourceURL || document.metadata.statusCode >= 400) {
  throw new Error("Firecrawl returned an invalid source document");
}

Use crawl for a waiter, startCrawl plus getCrawlStatus for durable asynchronous orchestration, and retrieve all result pages before claiming completeness.

Before you install

  • Read the whole file first. Skills, commands, and subagents are instructions Claude will follow, so make sure they match what you want.
  • Check which tools, scripts, or MCP servers it uses. Local servers and scripts run with your permissions.
  • Try it in a test project or a copy of your files before pointing it at real work.
  • Pin the version you tested, and review changes before updating.
  • Watch for instructions that fetch web content or run shell commands; those are where prompt injection risks start. See our prompt injection guide.
